El silvopastoralismo como herramienta de prevención de incendios

El pasado jueves tuvo lugar en Girona el seminario técnico transfronterizo, con el objetivo de compartir experiencias y discutir desafíos comunes relacionados con el silvopastoralismo como herramienta de prevención de incendios en regiones de clima mediterráneo en España y Francia.

La jornada forma parte de una de las acciones del proyecto ALBERAPASTUR, financiado en el marco del programa europeo POCTEFA, y tiene como objetivo la implantación del pastoreo en áreas estratégicas para prevención de incendios en el macizo de la Albera.

Durante el seminario se han presentado diversos mecanismos para movilizar las actividades pastorales para la prevención de incendios, con experiencias de las regiones de Cataluña, Andalucía, Madrid, Aragón y Valencia para España, y los Pirineos Orientales y Hérault, por Francia.
