Sistemes d’arbres i conreus combinats: oportunitats productives i ambientals

El proper 19 d’abril el Centre de Ciència i Tecnlogia Forestal de Catalunya (CTFC) organitzarà junt amb FBS una jornada de camp per presentar els fonaments i el potencial productiu i ambiental dels sistemes d’arbres i conreus combinats.

La jornada, conduida per Jaime Coello (CTFC) i Sònia Navarro (FBS), inclourà la visita a dos sistemes agroforestals, un amb cereal combinat noguera i freixe per a fusta de qualitat i un altre de tarongina amb noguera per a fusta de qualitat.

Els sistemes agroforestals (combinació d’arbres amb conreus o ramaderia en el mateix espai) permeten incrementar i diversificar la productivitat del terreny i presenten notables avantatges ambientals. Com a conseqüència, són cada cop més rellevants dins la PAC.
