The ERASMUS+ project HERBARTIS ended last August and the guidelines and the material collected through the years of the project are now ready.
The precious output of ERASMUS+ HERBARTIS, the “Guidelines of training methodologies and policy recommendations for qualification recognition of herbal craft’s production”, together with all the training material (on-line course, videos, seminars proceedings, networking conclusions, study visits reports, etc.) are now available on the internet, in the different languages of the project – Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, French and English. This useful, comprehensive educational tool is dedicated to all producers, technicians, entrepreneurs, trainers and students in the field of aromatic herbs and is freely downloadable at the link: https://herbartis.wordpress.com/reports.
The project
“HERBARTIS – Adult Training on Handicraft Production of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants”, is an ERASMUS+ project approved by the European Commission under the Community programme 2014-2020 (KA2 “Strategic Partnerships” action), has been implemented between 2015-2017 and was dedicated to strengthening new paths of education and training for producers of medicinal and aromatic plants.
The leader country of the project was Spain, represented by CTFC “Centre Tecnològic Forestal de Catalunya” (Forest Research Centre of Catalonia). The other partners were: from Spain, IRTA “Institut de Recerca i Tecnologia Agroalimentàries”; from France, UESS “Université Européenne Senteurs et Saveurs (UESS)”; from Portugal, ADCMoura “Associação para o Desenvolvimento do Concelho de Moura”; and from Italy, the Association “Le Terre dei Savoia” and CRA-FSO “Council for research and experimentation in agriculture”.
