The goal of the Community is to promote the exchange of experiences and good practices between people interested in agroforestry systems
Within the framework of the projects AgroForAdapt (funded by the EU LIFE program) and TRANSITION (funded by the EU through the PRIMA Program), a new community of agroforestry systems and mixed crops has been created to promote the exchange of experiences and best practices among all those interested in these resilient systems.
Despite the productive and environmental benefits of agroforestry systems and mixed crops systems, their adoption is still incipient and scattered. For this reason, this initiative seeks to facilitate the meeting between the people who manage, advise, and investigate these systems, or who are interested in knowing more about them.
This Community uses the Landfiles platform, a free social network specialized in agricultural management. In addition, the Community will allow its users to stay up-to-date on conferences, courses, and transfer publications related to these systems.
